About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the operations of our Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta- Galleria / Cumberland. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving financial performance and operational excellence. This role requires strategic vision, strong leadership, and the ability to build and maintain a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities :
Operational Leadership
- Oversee all aspects of daily hotel operations, ensuring a high standard of service, cleanliness, and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a strong presence in all areas of the hotel, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and complimentary food & beverage.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and reviews, implementing improvements as needed.
Financial & Revenue Management
Develop and execute strategies to drive occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.Prepare and manage the hotel’s annual budget, forecasting revenues and expenses.Control costs and maximize profitability through effective labor management, expense control, and revenue optimization.Work closely with the sales and revenue management teams to develop and implement pricing strategies.Sales & Marketing
Partner with the sales team to generate new business opportunities and maintain relationships with key accounts.Drive local sales initiatives and participate in community events to promote the hotel.Ensure the hotel maintains a competitive position in the market through strategic marketing efforts.Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing team focused on exceptional guest service.Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.Conduct regular staff meetings and ensure clear communication of goals, expectations, and hotel updates.Implement and oversee employee recognition programs to enhance engagement and retention.Guest Satisfaction & Quality Assurance
Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by maintaining excellent service standards.Respond to guest feedback and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally.Oversee Hilton Quality Assurance audits, ensuring the hotel consistently meets or exceeds brand standards.Property Maintenance & Compliance
Ensure the hotel is well-maintained, safe, and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.Work with the maintenance team to oversee repairs, renovations, and routine maintenance projects.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including fire safety, food safety, and ADA compliance.Qualifications & Experience :
Minimum 3 years of hotel management experience, preferably within Hilton or extended-stay brands.Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and revenue strategy.Experience with Hilton systems is highly preferred.Proven track record of increasing guest satisfaction scores and financial performance.Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment while making strategic business decisions.Knowledge of local market trends, sales, and marketing strategies.Benefits & Compensation :
