About the Role:
As a Hotel Manager at Homewood Suites - Indiana, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel and ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction. Your main goal will be to provide exceptional service and create a positive experience for all guests. You will be in charge of managing the hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams, and ensuring that all departments are working together seamlessly. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's financial performance, implementing strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs, and ensuring compliance with all industry regulations and standards. Overall, your role will be crucial in maintaining the hotel's reputation and driving its success in the hospitality industry.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in hotel management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests, employees, and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Experience in managing a hotel of similar size and complexity.
- Certifications in hotel management or related areas, such as Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) or Certified Hospitality Supervisor (CHS).
- Experience with revenue management systems and strategies.
- Knowledge of local market trends and competition in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the hotel's operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments.
- Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and resolving any guest issues or complaints.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability, including sales and marketing initiatives, cost control measures, and revenue management techniques.
- Hire, train, and supervise hotel staff, ensuring that all employees are well-trained, motivated, and working together as a cohesive team.
- Maintain the hotel's compliance with all industry regulations, health and safety standards, and brand standards.
