Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This position involves managing front desk responsibilities, conducting night audits, and providing exceptional guest relations. Duties
- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest inquiries.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
- Process payments and manage cash handling procedures.
- Utilize phone systems effectively for guest communication and inquiries.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations throughout the night.
- Prepare reports for management detailing occupancy rates, revenue, and any discrepancies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in night audit roles or similar positions within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management practices and customer service excellence.
- Proficiency in front desk operations and familiarity with phone etiquette.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of hospitality software systems is an advantage.
- A passion for providing outstanding guest experiences in a hotel setting.
