We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to oversee the housekeeping department within our establishment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned and maintained according to established standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for the housekeeping team.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate housekeeping staff to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the facility.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inventory logs, and maintenance requests.
- Guest room cleaning / public area cleaning
- Report to Housekeeping Manager
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality or industrial cleaning sectors.
- Familiarity with hotel operations is preferred but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
