Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional breakfast experience for our guests in a hotel setting. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure that our breakfast area is inviting and well-stocked, creating a positive start to our guests' day.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain the breakfast area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and fully stocked with food and beverages.
- Prepare and present breakfast items, including hot dishes, pastries, fruits, and beverages.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including coffee machines and toasters.
- Assist guests with their breakfast needs, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment after use to maintain health and safety standards.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in once weekly evening social, typically a 4 hour shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hotel environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with catering services or banquet setups is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts as required by the hotel's breakfast schedule, and availability for weekly evening social.
