General Responsibilities:
· Properly and efficiently perform all breakfast attendant duties
Primary Functions:
- Responsible for preparing and serving the daily complimentary breakfast for hotel guest
- Setting out/arranging food
- Clearing, cleaning and sanitizing tables as they are vacated
- Restocking food and supplies as needed for each day.
- Washing serving equipment and returning it to storage
- Prepare foods such as cut fruit, coffee, juices, cereals, breads, etc.; replenish food on cold lines and buffets as needed and inspect display tables: Continues restocking of food such as coffee, juice and milk machines or dispensers during set breakfast times.
- Observe and ask guests about their needs and levels of satisfaction with the food or service; describe and/or answer questions for guests about menu items, the buffet, daily specials, etc.; talk with guests to create a friendly atmosphere and respond to their question about attractions or other information in the area. Report any problems to the General Manager
- Stock coffee, juice, milk machines, dry items, china, glass, silver, etc.; set out chafing dishes, steam tables, heat lamps, signs and easels, newspaper, and self-serve utensils.
- Bus, clear and clean tables as they become available; wash utensils, china, etc.; clean up spills; remove trash; replenish guest tables and self-service stations as needed.
- Perform additional task to include returning reusable foods to storage, cleaning and draining all machines and equipment.
- Responsible for unloading of deliveries and the proper storage of such. By utilizes FIFO when storing inventory and product rotation
- Ordering or purchasing food supplies
- Removing trash.

Specific Responsibilities
- Be knowledgeable of the product and standards for supplies.
- Follow all existing and new breakfast policies and procedures.
- Comply with breakfast attendant work schedule and attend departmental meetings.
- Ensure the prompt and systematic servicing of all guest requests and handle guest complaints effectively.
- Inform your immediate supervisor of any unique situation or unusual development in the breakfast area operations
Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma.
- Willing to work early morning hours, Holidays, Saturday, Sundays and willing to work a flexible schedule
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
