What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Housekeeper Manager position at Homewood Suites by Hilton?
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for managing the housekeeping team of the hotel. This person will help management to build and to organize a team that provides superior cleanliness and service, while working to stay within budget. They are responsible for the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Computer fluency, organizational skills, time management and an eye for details is very important. Qualified applicant will have a willingness to provide our guest with the best experience while staying at the hotel. Applicants must be able to perform some heavy lifting alone or with reasonable accommodations. Applicant must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Duties
- Create schedules, organize the days housekeeping activities, and assign daily job duties to the housekeeping team.
- Keep and accurate inventory of all Housekeeping and laundry supply par levels, to help determine usage rates, and timely ordering.
- Inspect the rooms and quality of the cleaning and support the housekeeping staff through the work day
- Clean guest rooms as needed, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
- Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Laundry Attendants must retrieve, sort clean and fold linens in a timely and efficient manner.
