What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Room Attendant position at Homewood Suites by Hilton?
The ideal candidate for this position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and general appearance of Guest Rooms. This may and will sometimes include public areas and corridors of the entire hotel. The Ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for stripping all assigned guest rooms daily.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Stripping and cleaning guest rooms.
- Stocking room attendant carts with supplies to prepare for the day and the next day.
- Rotating linens in storerooms to ensure all linens are ready for use for the room attendants.
- Removing trash and dirty linens from room .
- Cleaning furniture, Vacuum guest rooms. Clean bathrooms, Guest rooms.
- Cleaning and replenishing public restrooms amenities daily.
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, lobby, hallways and stairwells daily.
- Reporting maintenance problems or completing work repair orders daily.
- Delivering special request items to guest rooms.
- Picking up trash from parking lot and garden areas.
- All other duties assigned supporting the Homewood Suite Promise.
The ideal candidate for this position must be a team player and will be required to report to work on time and in uniform. The ideal candidate for this position must have a solid job history.
