Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay by providing exceptional cleaning services throughout the hotel.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Ensure all housekeeping supplies are stocked and organized, reporting any shortages to management.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or services.
- Assist in laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and management to maintain an efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of custodial practices and housekeeping management is a plus.
- Ability to perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Must be physically capable of lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
