Job Summary
Responsible for cleaning guest rooms and common areas including, disposing of trash, changing beds, sanitizing surfaces and restrooms. Additionally housekeepers are required to report any room damages and notify maintenance of any issues with facilities.
Job Duties
- Cleaning and stocking guest room restrooms
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Sanitizing surfaces throughout guestroom
- Collecting and disposing of trash
- Maintain a stocked cart with necessary supplies
- Dusting furniture and mirrors
- Report damage or missing items to maintenance
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Assist department, as needed.
- Additional duties, as required.
Qualifications:
- Over (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required.
- Hotel experience Preferred
- Details oriented
- Team player
- Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with guests and visitors.
Physical Environment
The position performs indoors.
The position constantly requires the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; regularly requires movement about the building utilizing stairs.
The position frequently requires to move items up to 25 lbs.
The position occasionally requires to move items up to 50 lbs.
The position frequently requires to move in a stooping, kneeling, crouching or, crawling position.
