Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments within our facility. This position is essential in ensuring that all laundry services meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency, particularly in a hotel environment.
Duties
- Launder and dry clean various types of linens, uniforms, and guest clothing with attention to detail.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry items for easy distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy items as needed.
