Housekeeping Manager

Job Summary
The Housekeeping Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, and implementing effective cleaning protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management within the hospitality or industrial sectors, demonstrating exceptional leadership and organizational skills.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures that meet industry standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
• Address any guest or client concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Stay updated on best practices in housekeeping management, custodial services, and floor care techniques.
• Fill in if any Housekeeper is not avalible to perform there duties.

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning methods, and floor care techniques.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with staff, guests, and management.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet operational demands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
