What are the responsibilities and job description for the HomeworkCoach/ADHD Tutor (In-Home), Huntington Station, NY position at HomeworkCoach?
We have a HomeworkCoach/Executive Function Coach opening in Huntington Station, NY. You will be working with a 7th grade boy needing an Executive Function coach. You will meet in-person once or twice per week directly at their house between 4-5pm. You will be assisting the student with his executive functioning skills as well as making sure he completes his assignments.
A homework coach is like a tutor but the focus is more on organization and building study skills than focusing on a particular subject. A Bachelor's Degree and tutoring experience is preferred. We have developed helpful HomeworkCoach training materials. Read about us at homeworkcoach.com.
We expect to pay you $50/hr. We pride ourselves on being really easy to work with; the only paperwork is to sign our contractor agreement, then you report your hours online and we pay twice a month. HomeworkCoach has now served more than 8,500 students since our incorporation in Georgia in January 2002. We have an A rating with the Better Business Bureau.
