What are the responsibilities and job description for the HomeworkCoach/Tutor, 1-3 hrs/wk, Manchester, VT position at HomeworkCoach?
We have a HomeworkCoach/Executive Function Coach opening in Manchester, VT. You will be working with a young man in College with ADHD. You will meet in-person two times per week at the student's home face-to-face for one hour. You will be assisting the student with his executive functioning skills as well as making sure the student gets his online modules completed and develops strong study habits.
A homework coach is like a tutor but the focus is more on organization and building study skills than focusing on a particular subject. A Bachelor's Degree and tutoring experience is preferred. We have developed helpful HomeworkCoach training materials. Read about us at homeworkcoach.com.
We expect to pay you $40/hr. We pride ourselves on being really easy to work with; the only paperwork is to sign our contractor agreement, then you report your hours online and we pay twice a month. HomeworkCoach has now served more than 8,500 students since our incorporation in Georgia in January 2002. We have an A rating with the Better Business Bureau.
