PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Non-QM Mortgage Appraisal Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the appraisal process for non-qualified mortgage (Non-QM) loans. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant appraisals are completed to support Brokers, Sellers and Underwriting. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, third-party vendors, and clients to facilitate a smooth and efficient appraisal process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the assignment and tracking of appraisals for Non-QM mortgage loans. Ensure that appraisals are ordered and completed within required timelines.
- Vendor Management : Work with approved appraisal management companies (AMCs), appraisers, and other third-party vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of appraisal reports.
- Serve as the main point of contact for brokers, underwriters, and other internal teams regarding the status and issues related to appraisals. Provide regular updates and escalate any delays or issues as needed.
- Address and resolve any appraisal-related issues or concerns, including disputes over property valuations, appraisal rejections, or required re-inspections.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking appraisals and associated documents, ensuring that all appraisal orders are processed efficiently.
- Prepare reports on the status of appraisals, including completion times, vendor performance, and any outstanding issues, and provide regular updates to management.
