Job Description:
As an Estimator at Honc Docks & Lifts, Inc., you will work directly with clients to design and sell custom docks and boatlifts for residential construction. This commission-based position offers extensive training in marine construction design, permitting, and sales tactics. You will be part of a supportive and experienced team with access to millions of dollars in available leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients within the Lee County area.
- Work with clients to design custom docks and boatlifts that meet their needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction.
- Present and sell services to new and existing clients, tailoring solutions to fit their requirements.
- Guide clients through the permitting and design process, providing expertise and recommendations.
- Manage the sales process from initial contact to closing the deal.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Provide ongoing post-sale support to ensure long-term client loyalty.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine strategies and improve customer outreach.
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of construction, boats, and boating in Southwest Florida.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the marine construction or related industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a goal-oriented approach.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and BuilderTrend (preferred but not required).
- A valid driver’s license.
