Job Overview
At Honda Cars of Aiken, we are seeking a talented and experienced Lube Technician to join our team. As an Xpress Lube Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are properly maintained and repaired in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance and repair needs
- Recommend repairs and maintenance to vehicle owners
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lube, oil, and filter changes
- Rotate and balance tires
- Mount and balance tires
- Conduct minor mechanical repairs
- Collaborate with mechanics and managers on any issues found
Requirements
To be successful as an Xpress Lube Technician at Honda Cars of Aiken, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Required Skills/Abilities:
- Computer literacy
- Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining high customer service levels
- Excellent mechanical skills
- Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
- Ability to work Saturdays
- Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Automotive Service Technician experience
- Valid U.S. Driver's License with good driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for 8 hours a day
- Tolerance for working in hot and cold weather
- Ability to kneel, bend, twist
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
