Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Flat Rate Technician to join our team. As a Flat Rate Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles or equipment efficiently and effectively while meeting the standards set for flat rate compensation. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality work in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles or equipment based on customer complaints and service needs.
- Complete repair orders and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Work efficiently to meet flat rate times and achieve maximum productivity.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including inspections, adjustments, and part replacements.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicles/equipment status.
- Stay updated with the latest industry techniques, tools, and technologies to perform repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Flat Rate Technician or in a similar technical role.
- Certification(s) such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
