Job Purpose
American Honda Motor is looking for an experienced analytic manager to lead our business analytic and insights team for Marketing, Sales, and Product functions. This team partners cross-functionally with marketing managers, product managers, agencies, and technology teams to provide actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and analytic initiatives. In this role, you will perform exploratory analyses, design & implement experiments, and present insights that will support all customer experience and marketing initiatives. You will also promote the use of data and analytic as a critical requirement of our business and will instrument required processes and toolsets to expand our analytic capabilities.
Key Accountabilities
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to provide strategic advice on American Honda's sales and marketing performance, and operational efficiency.
- Identify strategic and tactical priorities while working with colleagues across business intelligence, data science, and data engineering to define the best solution for each problem.
- Structure data analytic projects related to sales and marketing, driving insights and analysis of channel strategy and performance and effectively communicate findingsat all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners, to leadership / executives).
- Provide requirements and work with BI team to create and manage scalable reporting and dashboards that monitor marketing key performance indicators (KPIs), highlight areas of improvement, influence strategy.
- Lead and manage complex data analytic projects, e.g., campaign effectiveness, KPI development, customer value analysis.
- Reporting on marketing program progress and performance, including creation of all post-campaign analyses, insights and recommendations.
- Work with and manipulate large, complex data sets for analysis and reporting.
- Establish product testing and experimentation programs for web properties, mobile applications, and marketing to improve customer experience and business performance.
- Lead the design and execution of A / B tests, multivariate experiments, and other testing methodologies. Create shared repository of experiment learnings, ensuring that data-driven insights drive. continuous improvement and innovation across the business.
- Work with internal product managers, developers, UX designers, and external partners to propose, plan, execute, and measure experiments. Provide actionable insights to drive strategic decisions.
- Oversee and coach a team of data analysts responsible for digital product analytic, customer segmentation, experimentation, and forecasting.
- Assist with ad-hoc data inquiries, and consultation with executive management.
