Job Purpose
Lead the overall operational management of assigned area through application of problem solving, continuous improvement and associate mentoring / development, in alignment with efficient production, new model introduction, business plan implementation and innovation to achieve or exceed targets that promote associate success.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop proactive management activities to identify root cause(s) to cell / robot performance with countermeasures.
- Stabilize production related downtime.
- Lead equipment operator training / skill up activity.
- Implement and manage equipment countermeasures for downtime.
- Coordinate weld breakdown within assigned area.
- Manage operators and equipment repair and maintenance of assigned area.
- Support offline groups (Weldability, New Model, Quality) and coordinate operator support.
- Coordinate Cycle Down activity in assigned area.
- Set up and maintain master list for all welding hardware.
- Coordinate and support investment projects.
- Support ordering of replacement parts for equipment.
- Train operators to complete their daily tasks.
- Complete monthly calibrations for ultrasonic inspection.
