Job Purpose
Warehouse Supervisors oversee critical functions of the distribution network that supports supplying Honda and Acura's dealer body with Automobile, Motorcycle, and Power Equipment Parts. The warehouse supervisor position is responsible for handling the distribution center's processes including receiving inbound freight, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control functions.
All Warehouse supervisors start as an entry-level Grade EX1 for one year, pending the successful completion of the Grade EX1 Warehouse Supervisor Upgrade Checklist as demonstrated and verified by the direct supervisor. Grade Level EX1 Supervisors must conduct performance appraisals and conversations regarding associate performance must be under the direction of an Assistant Manager or Manager.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
* High School Diploma or General Equivalency
* Associate's Degree or Equivalent job-related experience.
* 3 years in a job-related field with increasing responsibility
* 1-3 years of Supervision/Leadership experience required in a related field
* Previous exemplary performance in a job-related field may partially compensate for a lack of supervisory experience
* Proven ability to handle projects from creation to completion
* Good written, verbal, interpersonal, and telephone communication skills
* Advanced working knowledge of MS Office and AHM-related software/applications
* Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment
* Knowledge of automobile, motorcycle, and power equipment lines a plus
Work Conditions
The position requires the candidate to work in a warehouse environment and may require frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying of parts weighing up to 25-50 lbs. The position will require frequent standing and walking for long durations. OT will be as required by workload. Travel 10-15%.
