SUMMARY: The Express Technician services vehicles as assigned including oil and filters changes, inspecting fluid levels, checking air pressure, lubricating parts, and rotating tires. Must have a willingness to learn, be a strong team player and have a positive attitude.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform vehicle inspections that include examining and testing multiple points of interest on the vehicle. This includes checking thoroughly for oil leaks and checking all fluid levels.
- Clean engine parts to remove grime and buildup. Apply lubricant to these parts to restore them to good working order.
- Check vehicle tires and test the air pressure.
- Drain existing oil from vehicles and replace it with new oil, ensuring that the proper type of oil is used.
- Replace filters in the engine, including air filters and oil filters.
- Check electrical components on vehicles, such as testing the horn and the lights.
- Make recommendations for further service on vehicles based on inspections.
- Follow all company and common-sense safety practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Drivers License
- Be a proficient driver of manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Outstand organization skills
- Ability to work quickly
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have 1 to 3 years of previous automotive technician experience
- Positive and enthusiastic approach to work with a problem-solver mindset
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service
- Hard working with the ability to focus on the details
- Ability work in a fast paced, team environment
- Ability to follow directions
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to operate a manual and automatic transmission
- Physically able to lift 20-80 lbs.
- Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
