Description of the role:
The Cashier at Honda of Lincoln plays a crucial role in the automotive service department by managing customer transactions efficiently and providing excellent customer service. We are searching for someone to fill the role of Monday through Friday; 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with occasional Saturdays; 7:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer payments for services and parts
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding invoices and receipts
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station
- Work closely with service advisors and technicians to ensure seamless customer experience
- Submit warranty claims to Honda for payment
Requirements:
- Previous cashier experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of automotive terminology is a plus
