Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, providing accurate service recommendations, and ensuring a seamless service experience. Your expertise in vehicle maintenance and strong communication skills will be essential in building lasting relationships with our clients.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
• Transmit detailed service requests to the service technicians, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Provide estimates for services, including oil changes, diesel engine repairs, and other vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a secure cash handling process.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service history through effective service writing practices.
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of services and address any customer concerns.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of auto service management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with diesel engine repair techniques is a plus.
• Excellent upselling skills to promote additional services effectively.
• Proficient in cash handling procedures with attention to detail.
• Experience as a service technician or in a similar automotive role is preferred.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers with varying levels of automotive knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $70,261.00 - $120,000.00 per year
