Hondros College of Nursing is currently looking to build a bench team for our growing Nursing programs at all of our campus locations. Instructors will work in either a clinical or lecture setting and are responsible for teaching courses in a variety of modalities while promoting and supporting the vision and mission of Hondros College of Nursing.
Day, evening & weekend schedules are available!
Full & Part Time Clinical Instructors will:
- Instruct students off campus at our clinical sites and/or in a lab setting.
- Promote a positive learning environment and work collaboratively to assure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum.
- Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
- Supervise and orient students to the clinical site as well as to all applicable policies and procedures.
- Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing valuable feedback.
- Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
Full & Part Time Lecture Instructors will:
- Instruct students in the classroom, lab, and/or clinical setting
- Promote a positive learning environment
- Work collaboratively to assure full implementation of the curriculum
- Participate as members of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees
- Recommend strategies for student success
- Tutor students to assist in meeting course objectives
- Implement the clinical experience component of the program, if applicable
- Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress and provide valuable feedback
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN) is required.
- Clinical Faculty must have two or more years full-time work experience as a RN (or part-time equivalent).
- Lecture Faculty must have at least three years full-time experience in the practice of nursing as a RN (or part-time equivalent).
- Active, unencumbered RN licensure in state of campus to be employed (OH, IN, MI)
- Ability to provide official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution.
- Current/Active American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
