Honest Insurance LLC ensures that individuals transitioning from incarceration have access to Medicaid, Medicare (if eligible), or income-based coverage through the ACA. By removing barriers to healthcare, we help returning citizens secure the coverage they need without unnecessary delays.
We are seeking a Reentry Specialist with a General Lines Life & Health license to join our mission-driven team. This role is remote but requires the candidate to reside in Texas or Ohio to effectively serve the communities we support. While no prior experience is required (we offer comprehensive training), licensed agents with experience must provide a full release for all insurance carriers before contracting.
- Enroll Eligible Clients: Assist in enrolling clients in Medicaid and/or Medicare if they qualify.
- Provide ACA Guidance: Offer guidance on income-based ACA coverage as an alternative to Medicaid/Medicare.
- Education & Support: Help clients understand their benefits and make informed decisions about their coverage options.
- CRM Management: Use our CRM to document interactions, track enrollments, and manage follow-up tasks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with corrections officials, nonprofits, and case managers to facilitate smooth enrollments.
- Compliance: Maintain adherence to all state and federal regulations, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
- Required License: Active and in good standing General Lines Life & Health license.
- Experience:
- No prior experience necessary—training will be provided.
- Experienced agents must submit a full release for all insurance carriers before contracting.
- Location: Must currently reside in Texas or Ohio.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with computers and comfortable using a CRM system.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex healthcare options clearly.
