What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate position at Honey Field Farm?
This team is the friendly face of our farm stand, providing helpful customer service, assisting in sales, restocking, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. The crew also assists in basic care for the greenhouse plants, harvesting of cut flowers, and assembly of cut flower bouquets.
- Perform sales and manage farm stand cash register
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers in finding products that meet their needs
- Answer questions about annual, perennial, and vegetable growing and gardening
- Restock farm stand with organic produce and local food products
- Keep sales areas clean and organized, manage presentation of retail products
- Other duties, including directing parking, carrying purchases to the car, plant care and maintenance, etc
- Provide cut flower support, including planting, weeding, deadheading and harvesting flowers
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
