Customer Experience Specialist for Salon

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
• Manage appointment scheduling and confirm bookings via phone or in-person.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and effective phone etiquette.
• Assist clients with product demos and recommend suitable products based on their needs.
• Maintain an organized reception area and ensure it is stocked with necessary supplies.
• Collaborate with salon staff to facilitate smooth operations and enhance client experience.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Support retail sales by promoting products and assisting with inventory management.

Experience

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within a retail or salon environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing retail sales.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Experience in product demos or sales is advantageous but not required.
• A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for the beauty industry are essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
