THE POSITION: Admission Coordinator
- Facilitates all incoming inquiries of prospective patients, loved ones and mental health/medical professionals with a sense of urgency and compassion.
- Exhibits a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service skills with each call and admission.
- Obtains clinical information and other medical information (as applicable) to determine appropriateness for Honey Lake Clinic.
- Assist callers in identifying the benefits of Honey Lake Clinic as relevant to their individual situation.
- Utilizes an Intervention style approach (when applicable) to assist callers in working through ambivalence.
- Demonstrates exceptional follow-up skills with prospective patients, families, and treating professionals.
- Prepares and facilitates all aspects of the admissions process, including all intake paperwork.
- Meets with Admissions team weekly to maintain quality of processes and systems.
- Must protect and handle sensitive and confidential material and situations. Safeguard documents and projects and maintain the utmost confidentiality. HIPPA Compliant
- Maintains database by entering incoming and outgoing calls.
- Makes outbound phone calls to referents, as assigned.
- Participate in process/quality improvement activities of the company.
- Keeps required trainings current.
- Performs other job duties as assigned by the Admissions Director.

· Pay Range: $20.00/hr-$24.00/hr., subject to experience/education
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of BA in psychology, counseling, social work or related field or 5 years’ experience preferred
- Preferred MA in psychology, counseling, social work or related field
- Licensed in one of the above curriculums or licenses eligible
- 2 years of sales or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to make independent decisions related to admissions criteria
- Clinical background
- Must have basic knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint).
- Must protect and handle sensitive and confidential material and situations. Safeguard documents and projects and maintain the utmost confidentiality.
- Must identify and resolve problems in a timely manner while gathering and analyzing information skillfully.
- Must provide strong customer service
- Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends and additional hours when necessary.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Meet criminal background check, Level II screening per state requirements

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
