Fresh, cheerful, and always delicious, Honey & Rye, a neighborhood bakery since 2013, is looking for an experienced, organized go-getter to help lead our back-of-house team!
Our Assistant Kitchen Manager is tasked with supporting the Kitchen Manager in the efficient and profitable performance of the kitchen including daily production, employee feedback, back-of-house operations, and execution of business priorities as directed by the company’s Mission, Vision and Values set forth by the Founder.

Wages
starting at $18/hour
Schedule
32 - 40 hours per week, at least one weekend day required scheduling flexibility to accommodate holiday and business needs. Shift coverage can start as early as 3:00 AM, or finish as late as 3:00 PM. (Typical scheduled shifts start between 6 - 7 AM)
Requirements
- 2 years of professional scratch-baking experience.
- 1 years supervisory experience.
- 1 years artisan bread production experience, preferred
- 1 years viennoiserie or pastry production experience, preferred
- Physically able to stand long periods of time.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills including ability to communicate directly and effectively.
- Dependable, flexible and team-oriented.
- At least one weekend day required.
- Commitment to executing company Mission, Vision and Values.
