The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an experienced wax specialist who is passionate about providing high-quality, efficient, and comfortable body and face waxing services. Our ideal candidate:
- Has a deep understanding of both hard and soft wax techniques and can perform a full range of waxing services, including bikini, Brazilian, leg, arm, and face waxing for all clients.
- Can provide a comfortable, safe, and seamless waxing experience, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and client care.
- Is passionate about educating clients on pre- and post-wax care while recommending skincare products to enhance their waxing results.
- Is a self-starter, detail-oriented, warm, and inviting, with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Works well both independently and as part of a team while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Is comfortable with the sales process, recommending products and treatments that benefit clients.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, professional waxing services with efficiency and precision.
- Ensure a comfortable and welcoming experience for all clients.
- Educate clients on pre- and post-wax care and recommend appropriate skincare products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary treatment room and common areas.
- Clearly communicate with the front desk and team to ensure seamless client scheduling and experience.
- Perform all types of waxing services, including bikini and Brazilian waxing, with expertise.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in waxing.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of company products, services, and promotions.
- Confidently educate clients on retail products to enhance their waxing results.
- Upsell additional treatments and skincare products to support client needs.
- Monitor wax supply levels and communicate inventory needs to management.
- Work harmoniously with the team in a positive and professional manner.
- Be punctual, reliable, and contribute to a healthy work environment.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, hygiene, and professional standards.
- Engage in training, meetings, and opportunities for continued education and professional development.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum one year of professional waxing experience, with expertise in Brazilian and bikini waxing.
- Must hold a current Virginia Esthetician, Wax Technician, or Cosmetology License.
- Three to five years of customer service experience preferred.
- Strong ability to build relationships and make clients feel comfortable.
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer and software skills, with experience using booking systems preferred.
- Social media and marketing experience is a plus.
- Must have a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment while maintaining attention to detail.
