JOB SUMMARY
Position is Mid-Shift 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The shipping and receiving logistics dock worker position verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards. Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas. Report food safety and quality issues to supervision/management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE JOB
- Pick orders according to Sales Orders
- Fill out paperwork according to company policy
- Follow company Shipping & Receiving policy
- Operate Lift Trucks
- Load trailers
- Organize/Clean Dock & Warehouses
- Report any deviations in deliveries
- Communicate any inventory issues
Weekly bonus checks may be awarded based on performance.
Pay rate may increase up to an hourly rate of $16.60 after satisfactorily completing 90-days of employment based on meeting or exceeding performance expectations with regard to safety, attendance, quality, and production.
Perfect attendance bonus of $50.00 paid weekly.
