SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:In a store situation, prepares ham and turkey products for sale to clients. Helps customers using the current sales processes. Resolves customer complaints. Maintains the day to day operations of front of house.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Counter service responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assisting customers using the Steps to Successful Selling.
Ensuring Client satisfaction including effectively resolving customer complaints.
Maintaining a professional appearance by following HBH guidelines on dress code.
Putting the customer before anything else that is done.
Prepare store for opening (e.g. stock counter with supplies) and closing.
Handle routine store maintenance by, in large part, utilizing the store-cleaning checklist, (i.e. sweeping the store, cleaning counter, and other duties).
Contributing to overall operation of department and company includes but is not limited to:Timeliness of response.
Quality of effort and accuracy/thoroughness of work.
Quality of interpersonal relationships.
Understanding and practicing food and associate safety.
Periodically assign tasks and projects, which differ from the normal activity/focus of the job.
Not only knows but owns the Customer Service Philosophy.
Physical demands: Standing for long periods, bending and lifting 25lbs.Good basic math skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.
