Position Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
- Review set up sheets and stage tooling as required to produce parts conforming to customer blueprint and/or purchase order requirements.
- Support planning, production, and programming to implement and optimize machining set-ups and programs.
- Maintain a clean work environment while running machine(s).
- Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency.
- Investigate and initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
- Making off-sets and other adjustments to programs also required

- Ability to select the best method of producing parts, tools or assemblies.
- Blueprint reading skills and appropriate math skills.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing, methods, fabrication processes (i.e., machining, heat treatment, machines/machine tools, cutting tools and fluids, N/C programming, instrumentation and control systems).

Reports to: Shop Foreman
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience:
- 5 years related experience required.
- Mill turn experience preferred
- High School diploma or GED.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
