Overview
*MUST BE OMMA CREDENTIALED* We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Grower to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and a strong understanding of plant care and cultivation techniques. This role involves working in various settings, including indoor cultivation, to ensure the successful growth and maintenance of plants. The Grower will play a crucial role in producing high-quality plants.

Duties

• Cultivate and maintain a variety of plants, ensuring optimal growth conditions.
• Utilize hand tools and mechanical equipment for planting, pruning, and harvesting.
• Implement irrigation systems to provide adequate water supply to crops.
• Monitor plant health by inspecting for pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies.
• Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of plant growth, treatments, and other relevant data using basic math skills.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and improve growing practices.

Requirements

• Experience in greenhouse management or farming is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to operate farm equipment effectively.
• Familiarity with lawn care practices and landscape maintenance is an advantage.
• Ability to irrigate efficiently using various watering techniques.
• Basic math skills for record-keeping and inventory management.
• Passion for growing plants with a keen eye for detail in plant care.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting or standing for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.04 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• No nights
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
