Treat Team Member

Honey’s Favored Sweets is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Independent Dessert and Customer Service Associate to join our team. This part-time role requires someone who can confidently manage the shop alone during their shifts, preparing desserts, assisting customers, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service:
• Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections.
• Process payments accurately using our POS system.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle any questions or concerns independently.
• Food Preparation:
• Prepare desserts such as funnel cakes, fried Oreos, and sundaes to our quality standards.
• Assemble food items for lunch specials, including sandwiches, wraps, and salads.
• Ensure all items are presented neatly and prepared efficiently.
• Shop Operations:
• Open and close the shop independently, following set procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the shop is presentable at all times.
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed during the shift.
• Handle basic troubleshooting for equipment or processes, contacting management only when necessary.
• Event Assistance:
• Assist with setting up and managing events like Trivia Night and Family Night when scheduled during shifts.

Qualifications

• Reliable and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Previous experience in food service, retail, or customer-facing roles is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and shop events.
