Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering personalized care tailored to their unique needs. This position requires a nurturing attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide medication administration as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Support clients with memory care activities, promoting cognitive engagement and social interaction.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety while lifting and moving clients.
• Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment for clients.
• Maintain a clean and safe living space for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
• Work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, adapting care strategies as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home health or caregiving is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of memory care techniques and medication administration is a plus.
• Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
