HoneyTree Therapy Center is seeking two Licensed Graduate Professional Counselors (LGPCs) to join our team in Columbia, MD. If you’ve earned your LGPC in Maryland and are passionate about supporting children and teens, we’d love to hear from you!
What We’re Looking For:
- Must have graduated from an accredited Master’s degree program in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Must have earned your LGPC license in the state of Maryland.
- LMSW’s are not eligible for this position, as we cannot provide supervision for social workers.
- MUST HAVE: Strong commitment to working with primarily children and teens, helping them navigate their mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy to kids and teens, helping them navigate life’s challenges in a supportive, creative way.
- Create personalized treatment plans that are as unique as each child or teen you work with.
- Track and celebrate client progress, making sure they’re on the right path.
- Team up with families, teachers, and other professionals to provide the best care possible.
- Keep things organized with accurate and timely documentation using TherapyNotes EHR.
- Stay true to ethical standards while respecting confidentiality
- Champion your clients’ mental health while also making time to take care of yourself.
- Embrace diversity by working effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
- Handle tricky situations with grace and professionalism, especially when working with parents or clients.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 per session (note: this is not per hour)
Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week
