Advanced Manufacturing Engineer I
Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) – New Product Introduction (NPI) is Honeywell’s organizational link between Integrated Supply Chain and the product development functions of Engineering, Program Management, and the Strategic Business Units. AME participates in the execution of new product development programs to ensure product cost, capability, and producibility targets are achieved. This role will be heavily responsible for First Article Inspections (FAIR) and coordinating quality notifications with the ISC NPI and AME Production Teams. The ability to read drawings and inspect hardware builds will enable success in this position.
The current specific opportunity is in the mechanical aerospace component design market space. This position requires on-site presence at the HON facility located in Tempe, AZ.
Key Responsibilities
- Review engineering drawings and bubble for inspection of hardware
- Review certifications for incoming material for FAIR submission
- Populate FAIR paperwork and submit
- Input inspection data into FAIR submission
- Review Process Map, PFMEA, Control Plan, Measurement Systems Analysis, and Process Capability Studies for FAIR
