In this role, you will be responsible for writing software to test Honeywell's next-generation Resilient Embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System (EGI). Your work will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced navigation technologies used in mission-critical aerospace and defense applications.
You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Software Technical Manager and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact by developing innovative software solutions that enhance the performance and functionality of our products. As a mid-level individual contributor, you will collaborate with peers to drive best practices in software engineering and ensure the successful implementation of software projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced software applications and solutions
• Work with cross-functional teams to analyze and comprehend complex customer requirements
• Develop scalable and efficient software solutions that meet customer needs
• Develop and maintain test software for our next-generation Resilient Embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System (EGI)
• Test, debug, and optimize software applications for high performance and reliability
• Document software designs, specifications, and user manuals
• Collaborate with peers and contribute to best practices in software development
