About the Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Refrigeration or equivalent education and experience, 3-4 years of experience working with controls systems, fire alarm systems, and security systems, and strong communications skills.
The successful candidate will have the ability to navigate discussions with customers and internal teams, identify possible improvement opportunities in processes and standards, and build rapport with cross-functional teams. They will also be able to understand, prepare, and propose sequence of operations, control wiring diagrams, DDC applications for HVAC equipment, control system SCADA/Graphics, control system field commissioning and deployment, control system functional performance testing, fire alarm risers, battery calculations, design access control, CCTV, fire alarm, PAVA, field devices selection for building automation, safety, and security systems.
We value candidates with relevant certifications, such as ASHRAE, NICET, or ASIS, and proficiency on tools like AutoCAD (Basic) and Microsoft Visio. Experience in protocols such as BACnet, LON, and Modbus, and a good awareness of Health and Safety and related risk assessments, building codes, and compliances are highly valued.
