Key Role in Chemical Manufacturing
As a Chemical Operator - Level 2 , you will play a critical part in the safe and efficient operation of our chemical manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for monitoring equipment, controlling process parameters, and ensuring the quality and quantity of products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to continuous improvement events and participate in 5S activities regularly.
- Participate actively in shift relief meetings.
- Shut down process units during emergencies and alert supervisor to actions taken.
- Join process improvement teams.
- Inspect operating areas routinely to observe conditions and report irregularities.
- Makes process changes as necessary to meet operational requirements.
- Complete scheduled operation PMs.
- Follow standard practices and procedures established for plant operations.
- Modify/Review operating procedures annually.
- Required member of emergency response team.
- Potential OJT certification and training of new operators as required.
- Perform all necessary housekeeping duties in area.
- Hazardous waste sampling, packaging/loading, container marking and labeling, hazardous waste container handling and management, respond to chemical spills and releases, and conduct routine inspections.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- Able to climb stairs at times, work in PPE, open/close valves, and lift up to 35 pounds.

Requirements:
- 3 years' experience working within a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Valid driver's license.

- High School Diploma or GED.
