You will report directly to our Operations Technical Manager and you'll work out of our Metropolis, IL location on an onsite work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily support of chemical processes to support ESS business
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Drive process optimization and continuous improvement

In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
The annual base salary range for this position is $73,000-$110,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or any other engineering field
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
WE VALUE
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and technologies
- Experience in chemical process design and optimization
- Internship and/or Co-op experience in engineering or relatable field
