Key Responsibilities
- Participate in site HSE and Process Safety Management programs, including Management of Change, Process Hazard Analysis, Root Cause Analysis / Incident Investigations, and development of Standard Operating Procedures
- Identify and monitor Key Process Indicators to sustain optimal plant operations and deliver on production, yield, and cost targets
- Develop and execute productivity projects to improve baseline safety, quality, production, and cost performance
- Develop capital project scopes of work and associated process packages to improve or maintain unit operations
- Bridge multiple layers of organization between management and front-line workers to deliver plant safety and production objectives
- Mentor and train operations staff on unit design and intended / optimal operation. Assist Operations department in troubleshooting plant operational issues
- Provide accurate, timely forecasts to Plant Finance to help meet financial commitments
- Interpret the health of the production system using PI and other data collection processes
