As a CNC Machinist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our Aerospace (AERO) business unit. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts for aerospace applications. Your expertise in machining and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.
You will report directly to our Manufacturing Supervisor, and you'll work out of our South Bend, IN location.
In this role, you will impact the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes, ensuring that our aerospace products meet the highest standards of precision and performance.
Pay: This position pays 31.64/hr
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes
