Summary
Performs and coordinates moderately complex construction management activities related to construction projects and related industrial infrastructure to meet Honeywell, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as the frontline contact for external customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving concerns, and nurturing positive rapport.
Maintain records of project status, progress, and milestones. Prepare reports offering a thorough understanding of project performance.
Assist in developing and managing project schedules, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure punctual completion in alignment with customer expectations.
Identify potential risks and actively work to mitigate challenges that could impact project success. Collaborate with the team to devise effective risk management strategies.
Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and work closely with the finance department to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Maintain progress tracking, ensuring seamless project advancement even without direct oversight.
Foster a spirit of teamwork within the group, aiding colleagues and making positive contributions to the team's collective goals.
Maintain open and clear communication among project teams, stakeholders, contractors, and external customers. Regularly provide updates on project progress and potential hurdles.
You Must Have
Must have at least 2 years relevant work experience.
A bachelors degree in construction management, project management, engineering, or a related field, or 2 years of additional experience in construction project management.
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
United States Citizenship.
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).
