What are the responsibilities and job description for the Innovation Researcher position at honeywell?
We are looking for an Innovation Researcher to join the Honeywell Aerospace Innovation team to conduct user-centered research. This role will gather data and translate it into valuable information to inform new product opportunities and strategies. This role will design and execute a variety of research studies, synthesize data and deliver customer-focused insights to guide our innovation process. The innovation researcher will report to the Sr Director of Innovation and collaborate with product, strategy, sales, design and marketing teams to develop tactical plans to continuously identify new business opportunities.
This role will support all of the SBUs within Honeywell Aerospace.
You will report directly to our Director Offering Management and you'll work out of our 1944 E Sky Harbor Circle, Phoenix, AZ location on a 3/2 hybrid work schedule. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Inform new product strategies through qualitative and quantitative research
- Identify new growth opportunities, unmet needs, pain points
- Execute research studies including interviews, concept tests and field studies
- Articulate value creation by segment & persona
- Develop new product initiatives
- Manage stakeholder relationship to define research goals
- Develop research methods and requirements
- Recruit, schedule and manage customer relationship
- Support sketching, prototyping and refinement of concepts
- Drive sales & marketing partnership
- Network within internal organization & industry
