What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspector - Level 4 (FAA/ODA) - Day Shift position at honeywell?
Reporting to Honeywell Phoenix Engines Quality/HOS function in the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC). The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of the Quality Management System and also assume ODA Unit Member Inspector role. This role may require flexible work hours.
- Maintain and improve the QMS (Quality Management System) for compliance to regulatory approvals (AS9100, FAA).
- Interface with Honeywell procedures in support of the development of local procedures and processes
- Ensuring sustained Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) implementation.
- Demonstrate an active commitment to the continuous improvement in the Honeywell Operating System
- Perform product and supplier quality function as required
- Be able to work in cross-functional teams to reach consensus.

- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Visually and/or dimensional inspect aerospace product to ensure conformity to Type Design and is in condition for safe operation.
- Issue FAA Authorized Release Certificates (FAA Form 8130-3) for Domestic or Export
- Comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and Honeywell ODA Manual requirements.
- Identify problem areas and take remedial action where required.
- Work effectively with the FAA, other ODA Unit Members and ODA organizations, Engineering staff and other departments, as required.
- The successful candidate will be required to successfully complete the Manufacturing Designee Seminar administered by the FAA and to become an authorized Unit Member of the Honeywell FAA ODA organization.

The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.
