What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead HVAC/BAS Field Service Technician position at honeywell?
As a Lead HVAC/BAS Field Service Technician and part of the Service team here at Honeywell, you will be tasked with the supervision of installation and service of systems that will include, BAS/DDC, security, access controls, in a commercial, educational, construction and or retrofit environment. You will be expected to perform testing and start-up support functions across a wide range of electronic Security/ Direct Digital Controls (DDC)/ Building Automation Systems (BAS), which will include proprietary software packages.
You will report directly to our Field Service Manager.
**Must reside within 150 miles of the Honeywell Louisville, KY site (9901 Linn Station Road, Louisville, KY 40223).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, maintain, and repair various fire safety systems
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain building automation systems to ensure optimal operating efficiency
- Conduct regular system diagnostics to prevent potential issues through predictive maintenance
- Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate fire safety and BAS solutions
- Provide training and support to junior technicians and other team members
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
- Document all service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
- Ability to work weekends and be on-call for customers
- Company vehicle will be provided to travel to customer sites
- Travel: Up to 15%
