As a Machinist Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining various machines to produce high-quality parts and components. You will work with precision tools and equipment to ensure that all products meet the required specifications. Your expertise in machining processes will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations. You will report directly to our Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ facility. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing processes, ensuring that all parts are produced accurately and on time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate various machines, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet the required specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and tools to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize production processes and meet customer demands.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
FAA REQUIREMENTS
All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone).
